Hot hot Hot, Wet Wet Wet.

Now what a wonderful/slight retarded weekend that was.
Fuck Faces was a great success. A ton of people showed up and got some wasted. Fist Fight was on from 11.30 til 12.30pm and tore the place up. After that Syntonics (Barbi and Cryo)seemed to manage to fill an already jam packed floor to the brim. Just after that DigDoug (aka Dougie Boom) came on. Out of nowhere some people carrying a sign that said "DANCE OFF" squared off a section of the dancefloor. Now, needless to say with the amount of substances people had been consuming, the dance 'square'(if you will) was instantly used. There were a couple of unsuccessful people grinding each other and some others making attempts that were a little bit more successful.

Our boy Homesick made an entrance (see photo below) with 3 beer bottles and proceeded to crip walk (along with some other shit, i was hammered). People applauded with glee, however, he was quickly done for when the winner (seriously) got down to business. I will now let these pictures do the talking.

The Serb hard at work (Please note the girl in the far right)

The winner doing her thing (and how)

The winner winning

Girlies shaking and bouncin it

DigDoug havin a go

Cryo tearing up the dancefloor

Audrey and some stranger Careful Audrey!

Nick and Fist Fight angry for coins

Meanwhile across town Bo Bliz and Emynd were tearing it up at The Drake.
Sadly some of us had full intentions on heading that way, but alas we seemed to have been paralyzed by Steel Reserve. However, our agents of good will (from down south) seemed to have the place on lock. Sadly Ive only got a few pictures of them for right now, however ive been assured that tomorrow they should be made available.

Anyways, in the spirit of summertime we all headed to Christie Pitts for a dip in the old public pool. I slashed the fuck out of my hand, but alas it was worth it to taste the cool crisp waters of freedom.

Cigarettes and skivvies (no shame. I love my body, so should you)

Interrogation in the deepend

Pow wow

Party tricks

Oh yeah, PS this Friday you should come

its going down
Hopefully outside itll be hot as shit so we can continue this swimming nonsense.
Saturday at the same place and same time its bound to pop off hard.

There should be even MORE pics from this weekend posted soon enough.
Yeahr.

Hooked on a feeling alright. Its called nausea

Here ya go. Try a little taste right here.
After youve played each one, try playing them all at once and see if your head explodes like off of scanners.

And now from our sponsors

Our friends down at Lounge Clothing apparently have received new stock (dig the shirt that our boy Ghetto Gold is rocking). Oddly enough, you can purchase Topshelf gear there as well, whodathunk?!?!

Well this week is shaping up to be an exhausting one. Other than the heat hitting 30c almost everyday (i dunno what that is in farenheit for you americans, its hot tho, believethat)it looks as if Toronto is going to be overwhelmed with Dj talent.

This Weds we've got Caps n Jones coming up from NYC. These boys are notorious down there for throwing the best of jams at even the worst of times. Im loving the fact that its only a fiver to get in. That and its basically around the corner from my house. Saweeeeeeeeeeet.

Right down the street on Wednesday youve got the everloving New Kicks party. This jam is constantly ridiculous and I do believe there are drink specials for the sweet sweet ladies. Kai and Zero Tolerance are going to be spinning and lord knows the defo rep Roundtable good and hard.

Thursday yours truly is headed down to Buffalo (i swear to god) for both the Mad Decent Tour (starring Diplo amongst others) and an afterparty being put on by Krudmart's Steve Kream and Hollarboards BPP. The best part is the next night, like the new wave hippies we are, we are all driving back up to TO for the Diplo party here...

Sometimes I think we are reliving our parents years just with better drugs, more soap and nicer clothing...

In Toronto Dougie Boom will be holding it down with his regular Thursday, No Sportos, at 751. This is handsdown the best thursday in town. Its free, theyve got crazy drink specials and last but not least Shit Le Merde will be guest djing. You CANNOT argue with that whatsoever.

Saturday is going to be a massacre as well, with two heavy weight contenders in the ring. In the one corner in the yellow and black shorts with the bumblebee tassles you have Drugmoney's Fuck Faces. We've got a new corner man, his name is Fist fight and his mixes are right on point.

In the other corner in black and white youve got the Skeletwinz with Emynd and Bo Bliz. from down in Philly. Those two boys have been mixing up a storm and do a relatively regular party called "White Tee's". Shit should be red hot. From my understanding there is going to be an after party involving both parties (byob) at the Christie Pitts pool, so bring your undies so we can get wet, wet, wet.

Better be out in the playing field

Get down like Bobby Brown

Photo courtesy of Crunk + Disorderly, yet again.

Bobby Brown was back with New Edition -- and his ostentatious behavior stood out when he was paired with the soulful group.

Brown, who left New Edition in the 1980s for a solo career, reunited with the band Sunday night in Houston for two songs at the Essence Music Festival.

As the other five members moved to slick choreography, Brown ran around the stage wildly and performed raunchy dance moves.

the rest here

Sounds alot like the weekend we had here in TO. Cheeee-rist, it was a long and wasted one. Friday popped off like champagne at Heidi Fleisses house, people were dancing right and left and getting liquored right down the middle. There should be some pics on the way. The after party was held at a gallery on queen st w that was shutting down and as a result they decided to serve liquor till the sun came up. Needless to say it became very messy very quickly. Our own boy Case had had a show there earlier and it had gone well as a result there was very little stress returning to the scene of the crime.

The rest of the weekend was a hot substance fueled blur. To be honest its like people never slept. I do seem to recall fireworks being shot off a neighbours roof and also drinking Lucky Lager in a park. God summertime is for the living.
